24/02/2023 - ERA and ICArEHB of UA create partnership on doctoral scholarships in non-academic settings

Do you want to start a PhD in prehistoric archaeology and get paid for your research?
Are you interested in researching but keeping one foot in the non-academic world?

ERA Arqueologia and the University of Algarve's ICArEHB have created a partnership that opens the door to the development of projects eligible for FCT doctoral scholarships (deadline 31 March).

Classes at the University of Algarve will begin in September 2023, and the main language is English. The scholarships include a monthly salary of 1199.64 euros (2023 value) for 48 months, social security, tuition and registration fees, as well as hotel and annual trips to the congress. The fellows will also have 22 days of annual leave.

An information session on the FCT application process will be held at the beginning of March and applicants will receive support in writing their proposal.
